About This Plant
Kurumulak Valli, commonly known as the Black Pepper Vine, is one of the world's most valuable spice plants, renowned for producing aromatic peppercorns used in kitchens across the globe. This fast-growing climbing vine thrives on support trees or poles and is an excellent choice for home gardens, spice gardens, and commercial plantations. Healthy vines begin producing pepper spikes within 2–3 years under proper growing conditions.
Kurumulak Valli grows best in warm, humid tropical climates with fertile, well-drained soil and partial shade. It is easy to maintain and produces abundant clusters of green pepper berries that can be harvested and dried to make premium black pepper.
